Linguist, anthropologist and orientalist, field researcher having lived in immersion a thousand miles from any industrialized land during two decades, Sophia L. Mann, Ph.D. has also trained in yogas vinyasa flow, hatha, jivamukti, prana vinyasa, yin, dragon dance, prenatal and post-natal (Gasquet method), as well as various ancestral meditation practices.

She gives weekly group lessons in renowned Parisian studios (Tigre Yoga Club Chaillot, Yoga Village, Be Yoga & Rasa Yoga), as well as tailor-made private lessons, tailored to your needs, in individual or small group sessions. His music lessons, sometimes live, are adapted to everyone's practice, advanced or beginner, and respectful of the complex mechanics of the human body at all stages of life.

Sophia takes you on a moving meditation, sometimes solar (very dynamic), sometimes lunar (more restorative), depending on the type of yoga taught. She draws on her knowledge of philosophy, psychology, hypnosis and coaching to invite you to explore all your possibilities.

Tireless traveler, in love with our beautiful planet, Sophia continues to train daily in the various disciplines which fascinate her and which she has so much pleasure to share with you. It also organizes retreats combining yoga, meditation & coaching in exceptional places, nestled in the great outdoors. She is regularly invited in France or abroad to give masterclasses, conferences or workshops in studios or festivals. She teaches either in French or in English.

She co-organizes - alongside Elodie Garamond, founder of the Tigre Yoga Club and Charlotte Saint Jean, creator of Yoga Chez Moi - the Women's Spirit Festival which takes place every year in Paris. The fourth edition of the festival will take place on May 16 and 17, 2019 at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild.

Certified coach and hypnosis practitioner

Sophia L. Mann also works as an executive (professional) and life coach. She is also a hypnosis practitioner. During the twenty years of her scientific career in the international academic world, Sophia has accompanied a large number of professionals (consultants, researchers, professors, students of the doctoral degree), individually or in teams, at all key moments of the (re) construction of their professional paths. She also acquired a solid experience in various fields of applied pedagogy, and very early became interested in the different forms of modern psychology and more recent methods of brief therapies as tools for exploring and understanding the human psyche.

To theorize her twenty years of coaching practice, Sophia trained in individual executive coaching, team coaching and the development of organizations alongside Vincent Lenhardt, precursor of coaching in France, and his team, in within the Transformance Pro, Coaching & Team Building school in Paris. She also trained in the practice of hypnosis (Ericksonian and later). In these training sessions, she found a valuable complement to the exercise in supporting change for individuals and teams that she is so passionate about.

Her personal journey particularly sensitized her to building or rebuilding careers, life changes, the quest for meaning, the tiling of plural activities, the problems of impatriation and expatriation, taking public speaking, deepening individual, oral or written expression (preparing interviews, conferences, radio programs or podcasts, articles or books), as well as managing the stress and burnout prevention.

Sophia L. Mann exercises executive (or "professional") and existential coaching (also called "life coaching"). She is also a hypnosis practitioner. Depending on the problem addressed, one or the other technique will be more suitable. Sophia practices in French and in English.
